Protecting your privacy is very important to us. With this in mind, we’re providing this Privacy Policy to explain our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information that we receive when you use our websites located at www.novvi.com (“Sites“). This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services or applications, even if they are accessible through our Sites.

Any information that is collected via our Sites is covered by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we’ll notify you of those changes by posting them on the Site, and we’ll update the “Last Updated Date” above to indicate when those changes will become effective.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Site, to administer your use of the Site, to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our Site, to respond to your inquiries via the Site, and to periodically send you newsletters and e-mails that directly promote our Site and our services in response to your interests. 

Contact Information.  Submitting an inquiry, we’ll collect the information that can be used to identify you, such as name and email address.  Further, we’ll retain the contact information associated with SDS requests to ensure that updates and changes are disseminated to those that most urgently need to be notified.   

Information Collected Using Cookies and other Web Technologies. Like many website owners and operators, we use automated data collection tools such as Cookies and Web Beacons to collect certain information.

Information Related to Use of the Sites. Our servers automatically record certain information about how a person uses our Sites (we refer to this information as “Log Data”), whether or not you submit a Request. We’re not responsible for the content, privacy or security practices and policies of any Third-party Service. Who We Share your Data With

Novvi uses data analytics and other cookies to gather information about visitors’ interaction with its website. These analytics may be provided to a third party to enable Novvi to optimize the user experience of its website visitors. The personal information contained in the analytics is limited to browsing data, which the third party may use to improve its analytics tools. Novvi does not otherwise ‘sell’ your personal information. Users may control whether this information is provided to third parties by adjusting the cookie settings on their browser.

Your Rights Over Your Data

You have choices regarding collection, use and sharing of your information.  You may access the site and elect not to submit your information by not submitting any requests or communications to Novvi.  Note that you may not be able to access all the features of the site.

Opt-Out. We may periodically send you free newsletters and e-mails that directly promote our Sites and our services. When you receive such promotional communications from us, you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the enclosed directions.  To opt-out of Google Analytics data collection, please use Google’s recommended opt-out solution.

California Privacy Rights

Under California Civil Code section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with us are entitled to ask us for a notice describing the types of personal customer information we have shared with third parties for those parties’ direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year.  That notice will identify the categories of information shared with third parties, the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the types of services or products marketed by those third parties. If you are a California resident and would like to request a copy of this notice, please submit a written request to info@novvi.com.  

If you are an individual residing in California, you may have additional rights with regard to the information we gather about you as a consumer.  Upon verifiable written request, we will provide to you information regarding the personal information we gather about you, the types of sources from which we obtain the information, the purposes for which the information is gathered, and the types of third parties with which we share or to whom (if any) we sell the information.  In addition, upon verifiable request or when required or otherwise appropriate, and within periods (if any) set by applicable law, we will grant you reasonable access to the personally identifiable information that we hold about you provided that you establish to our reasonable satisfaction that you are the person whose personal information is requested. We may deny such access where the denial is permitted by applicable law and every request from an individual will be assessed on a case by case basis.  In the event a request is denied, we will notify you regarding the reasons for the denial in writing.  Consistent with how your personally identifiable information is maintained in the ordinary course of our business, we will provide the information in an understandable form, and to the extent feasible in a format that permits you to use the information on other systems. We may impose a reasonable charge when a request is made (e.g., for photocopying or postage) to the extent permitted under applicable law. In addition, we will take reasonable steps to permit you to correct or amend personally identifiable information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete. We also will delete personal information we have gathered about you when you make a verifiable request that we do so, except to the extent applicable law permits or requires us to maintain that information.  To guard against fraudulent requests for access, we will require sufficient information to allow us to confirm the identity of the individual making the request before granting access or deleting the information.  We will not discriminate against consumers who exercise their rights under California law.

The CCPA section 1798.140(t)(1) states selling, “means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a consumer’s personal information by the business to another business or a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.”
